Utilization

1) Before the first use, clean the surface of the thermometer with a lightly moistened dish cloth and wash the probe with warm water and mild soap, taking care not to wet the surface of the thermometer. Wipe the product well with a dry cloth. Do not use any chemical cleaning agent. Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid. The product is not dishwasher safe.

2) Remove the probe protective cover and press the power ON/OFF button. The screen displays the current temperature in οC. Press the button oC/oF to change the temperature mode.

3) For either liquid or solid foods, stick the probe pin into the thickest part of the food or into the centre of the food or immerse it into the centre of the container whose content you wish to measure the temperature. Wait until the temperature on the display has been stabilized.

4) As soon as the measuring is finished remove the thermometer and turn it off by pressing the ON/OFF button.

5) After each use, clean the product according to the instructions of the 1st step. Remove thoroughly any food residues.  

6) Place the protective cover on the probe and store the thermometer in a dry and safe place, not easily accessible to children.

Notes

- In case of measuring the temperature of the meat, keep the probe away from bones and fatty parts of the meat.

- For safety reasons, always keep the protective cover on the probe when the thermometer is not in use.

- Do not touch the probe with bare hands during use.

- Always keep the product out of children reach.

- Children are not allowed to use or to play with this product.
