½ large onion, finely chopped
400 gr. minced pork
200 gr. (½ can) chopped tomatoes
¼ cup of water and ½ beef broth
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
¼ teaspoon chili powder
Salt and pepper
6 buns especially for hot dog

1. In a non-stick pan, fry the bacon over medium heat until it starts to become crispy. Then add the chopped onions and fry over high heat, stirring until golden brown. Add the minced meat and cook over high heat, stirring occasionally for 3-4 minutes.
2. In the pan, add and mix the tomatoes, the brown sugar and the water with the broth. Add sugar, paprika, cumin, chili, salt and pepper. Stir well and when it starts to boil, lower the heat and simmer for another 5 minutes.
3. For the sausages: in a medium saucepan, heat the water until it boils. Put them in and simmer for 5 minutes. Place the buns in a pan. Put the pan in a preheated oven and heat the buns for 2-3 minutes.
4. To serve, cut the buns from their long side and fill them with the minced meat. Place the hot dog on top of the minced meat, sprinkle with chopped red onion and grated cheese. Serve immediately.
