Recipe ingredients

1 medium onion

2 cloves garlic

1/2 pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon chili flakes

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1 tomato

400 gr. canned tomatoes

5-6 eggs

1/2 bunch chopped parsley

80 gr. Cypriot cheese halloumi

basil leaves

Recipe Directions

1. Heat the olive oil in a pan and saute the chopped onion, the garlic and half a pepper.

2. Cook for a few minutes and then add the chili flakes, the paprika, the cumin, the tomato, the canned tomatoes and the parsley to the pan.

3. Simmer for 2-3 minutes and then turn off the heat. Add 5 eggs on top of the sauce and let them fry.

4. Season the food well and add the chopped halloumi to the pan.

5. Sprinkle with chopped basil and parsley. Add olive oil, pepper and serve.
