Minced meat with sauce by Athena Loizidou

Recipe ingredients

For 4 servings:

400 gr. lean, pork minced meat

2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

1 medium green pepper, without seeds, finely chopped

30 gr. ready yellow mustard

50 gr. ketchup

25 gr. brown sugar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 cube of beef broth

Salt and pepper

Recipe Directions

1. In a cast iron pan over medium to high heat, brown the minced meat for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the onion, the green pepper and mix them.

2. Add the mustard, the ketchup, the brown sugar, the Worcestershire sauce, the broth cube and mix them well. Lower the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Put salt and pepper and serve with sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, rice or even fresh bread for a quick, easy and very tasty dish.
