On the occasion of NAVA's 50 years of operation, we held a celebratory event at NAVA's showroom with important guests from all over the world, beloved personalities of Greek showbiz, chefs, journalists, bloggers and the entire NAVA team to celebrate the 50 years of the company, the announcement of our new line of WE CARE NAVA children's utensils and a new cooperation supporting a beloved Non-Profit Foundation that for decades has been making the wishes of children all over the world come true.
Our guests enjoyed a two-day event full of surprises! A special culinary menu was held at the venue and the attendees witnessed an all-day cooking demonstration under the supervision of the chef and professor of gastronomy, Giorgos Palisidis and his team. An interactive food and cooking experience, starring NAVA cookware and NAVA team and of course a lovely menu for all our guests.
"When It comes to NAVA, everything has to do with cooking… which is why we wanted the event of 50 years NAVA celebration to be an ode to gastronomy!"
NAVA since 1972
From its foundation until today, NAVA has been developing continuously new cookware collections and innovative products, having as its basic principle the total quality of its products and services.
From a neighborhood store in the center of Thessaloniki, Dimitris Vlahos paved the way for pioneering imports of household equipment products. At the end of the 1980s, the company already had two new wholesale stores and was laying the foundations for the factory in which it still develops, designs and pioneers in Greece and abroad. Gradually, the second generation, the Vlachos brothers – Nikos, Achilleas and Valantis, took over the reins of the business. Having inherited the experience and valuable knowledge passed unchanged from generation to generation, they continue the company's business activities with strategic alliances abroad.
NAVA has associated its name with the field of home equipment, designing and offering complete collections of kitchen items with a Greek signature. Centered in its state-of-the-art facilities in Thessaloniki, it is one of the most important companies in the field of cookware, food preparation and meal presentation.
All these years NAVA has maintained its leading position in the Greek market having won the trust of modern households and people involved in gastronomy. At the same time, with dynamic collaborations, development of new products as well as continuous investments in infrastructure and marketing, it is expanding worldwide, consolidating partnerships with the most important distributors and chains of home equipment stores in more than 40 countries, in Europe, countries of the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, North Africa, Central and South America.
The NAVA team
NAVA's most important investment, however, is its human resources. With full training and a vision that perfectly matches the company's corporate profile, its people can cope with every challenge and achieve every goal, whether it concerns the international or the Greek field of home equipment.
All these years, the company, faithful to its values and with people as its guiding principle, supports all social groups, with the aim of improving their quality of life.
NAVA WE CARE
With our corporate social responsibility -a model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public- being an integral part of the company's DNA, we announced at the 50th anniversary event the new support cooperation, with the well-known organization Make-a-Wish Greece, on the occasion of presenting our new children's series WE CARE.
The WE CARE range of food containers, bottle warmers and glasses meets the needs of the modern family. A series with unique designs, of high quality, with environmentally friendly materials, ideal for young and old.
“Our company's 50th anniversary event was a unique two-day event as we welcomed beloved customers and partners to celebrate this important milestone. The highlight of the event was the inspiring speech of the famous presenter and ambassador of Make-A-Wish-Greece, Ms. Fay Skorda, who attended the event for the presentation of our new children's utensils series WeCare, where part of the sales will be allocated for the adoption of a Make-A-Wish child's wish (Make-A-Wish Greece). The event was the seal of our journey over the past 50 years and a promise that we will raise the bar even higher, with a commitment to quality, innovation and valuable partnerships, looking to the future."
